Weekend is always great, you spend time with your family, hanging out without worrying anything and take a good rest. Today, the weather is ridiculously awesome, we take a very long walk like more than 3 miles walk around the neighborhood to the park. Plus this place is mostly hills, uphill/downhill every street. First we went to the Ritas to have some cool refreshing gelatti and custard. Then walk around going to the park. We have two parks which is close in this area we live in. The one park ismore on kids, family park and its closer to our place and the other one is kind of far from our place and its more on leisure, exercises activity park. You can different people walking, running, biking,playing doing their own way of getting fit. And one neat thing with their playground is its not crowded because in every turn of the park there is a little playground for kids. It a big park, good for walking and jogging. So we walk down there, itwas a really long walk for us three, well jake is in his pushing car but he was tired with the bumpy road along the side. When we got there, he just wanted to get out from his car and play with the equipments in the playground. We had fun even if it was a tiring walk but in a good way. It was a good exercise for me and hubby and at the same time jake got to see different environment. When we head home jake was so exhausted that he was seating like a slob pig in his car hehehe. He just went right away to his second nap and it last for more than an hour. Walking is really helpful and a good exercise to stay fit and healthy.

How was your weekend people? Here in our humble abode was fine, we wanted to go out coz the weather was okay but too bad our little guy’s rashes are all over his face and body. It was really look bad, today some from his face started to clear up, the body and the arms, legs still red and bad hopefully it will clear up all of it pretty soon. He is very well happy today, walking and oppps!omg, picking up some lent on the floor and so quick to put it in his mouth. Yeah! we always had fight going on in here just to get those lent out from his mouth. He seems like chowing it, though he hasn’t swallowed one yet because mama and dada too quick to notice it. Our little guy can pick up finger foods now and put it in his mouth. When we eat on the table we just put some food on his highchair and his picking them up on his own. Before he was lazy to pick up those food, he’d rather let us feed those food to his mouth.  That is why it is so funny when he’s walking around he would stop and pick up the lent or tiny piece of paper on the floor and it goes right away to his mouth. I’m sure some babies too undergo that stage, coz I heard one time from my sister’s grandson who used to do that too. So im sure this stage will pass eventually. We just have to clean the place very well to avoid any accidents that my baby might swallow. Nothing much to tell here, hope you all have a nice weekend.

It’s valentines again, people all over the world celebrating the love day every February 14th. Love ones exchanging gifts, flower on valentines day to express their love all in the name of St. Valentine. Even some kids knows what valentines is, they give flowers and chocolate to their mother to show how much they love her. We heard a different histories about valentines day, Who is st. Valentine and why we celebrate this holiday. But we know that February has long been a month of romance. One legend contends that valentine was a priest who serve during the third century in Rome. Valentine defied Claudius II the emperor who outlawed marriage for young men, claudius decided  that single men made better soldiers than those with wives and families. Valentine realizing the injustice of the decree he continued marriages for young lovers in secret. When claudius discover it he ordered that he be put to death. Other stories suggests that Valentines has been helping christians escape from harsh in prison where they have been tortured and beaten up. Valentines sent the first valentines greeting when he was in prison according to some legend. he fell in love to this young girl, and when he died he wrote her a letter, which he signed “from your valentine” an expression that is still in use today. Well, like i said we heard a lot of valentines history. As long as we believed in valentines day, its all that matters. Show your love to your love ones on valentines day. It’s saturday and the weather is fine and nice not so cold. We  supposed to go to the library for jake’s family story time, but we woke up late. So, instead we went to the mall to get some stuff for hubby. The mall is pretty crowded their on sale. I guess with this cool weather people love to hang out at the mall than staying outdoor. On the way to the mall I saw few people jogging and taking a walk at the schenley park so, today is pretty decent day i would say. After getting what hubby needs, we took our little buckaroo to the playground in the mall. As usual plenty of kids of different ages screaming, running around, playing, climbing whatever just to have fun were there. You wouldn’t want to  leave your baby who hasn’t walk yet to crawl around unattended. I saw couple of mommys following their little ones, you have to watch them out from those big kids they might run over your baby. We let jake play for few minutes, go sliding, crawling and practice walking with me holding his one hand. He made couple of steps everytime i let go his hand, thats a good start. Even if we missed two saturdays in that family story time he still had interaction with other kids.

Tuesday we flew back home, our flight were from vegas to phoenix to pittsburgh. Since all non stop flight directly to pittspurgh were all full, we decided to stop at phoenix and drop baby dallas there. My sister has been so very nice to us, she has to take baby dallas home too on that day and flew with us to pittsburgh. The babies were both nice and cool during that flight, they fell asleep as soon as the plane took off and woke up when it landed. Phoenix weather was 72 degrees ohh what a beautiful weather that was for me compare here. Then after an hour was our flight going to pittsburgh, and as usuall jake has been very nice baby, i think he was excited to come home and see his dada, so far he’s been always a good baby. He misses his dada so much, but you know babys they don’t have long retention yet sometimes he forgets it. So, from the 70s degree weather to the 24 degree what a changes. Some of the passenger on that flight were still celebrating about the steelers for winning the superbowl. When we were on the plane we saw how thick the snow below, and sure was cold and freezing. Though few of them has melted but still look nasty. It feels like magic to me, 5 hours ago we were at the warm place after that we’re back at the cold place. I had cold and cough from the sudden changes of weather. Anyways, im glad we had that vacation and we came home safe. I’m grateful with my BIL and my sister for giving us free ticket and made us feel at home while we were there. Our flight was so easy because my sister was with us, She helped me with jake and our suitcases and she has to fly back to vegas early the next day, she felt exhausted after that trip thanks sis.  

This is been a true experience for me, i once travel just by my self when i first got here in the US, and it was so frustrating for me cause it was my first time and i was by my self, thats was a frustration base on paying much much more attention and keeping a good focus, and i would say, Hey! i made it, and it wasn’t that bad for a first time and international trip. Now, its more different and more stressful, cause i travel with my son who’s only 10 1/2 months old and this is only a domestic flight. So i have some guidelines and its base on experience, it will save a lot of time and energy for you.When you are traveling with child:1. Make sure all the documents you need for your self and your child is in easy access and organized.  a. for you, you need your ticket and ID.  b. for your child, Birth certificate . 2. Check in most of your stuff, just bring the stroller, your purse and diaper bag, the lighter the better.3. Go to the airport few hours before your flight cause sometimes, going through security is going to take a long time. This way you won’t be rushing and you can relax a little bit because you have plenty of time on your hand.So, i really learn a lot on my travel this time, i was relax, my child was amazingly a good boy. To avoid travel frustrations specially if your child’s  with you, get everything ready and handy and make a time plan. My son jake and i did really good. 

It’s our second time to go to vegas, first with my hubby and jake, but now, its just me and  jake, coz hubby has to work. My sister is with us in all this travel, she gave us free ticket coz her husband work as a pilot in Southwest Airline. We got up so early, we got lucky jake was in the mood when he woke at 4:00 o clock in the morning and it was so very cold outside with a bunch of snow in the ground and a lot more coming down. Thanks God, everything was okay, we got to the airport early. Hubby has work so he had to drop us early to the airport. My little buckaroo was overwhelmed with the people at the airport. He didn’t made any fuss at all, he was busy looking around. He is such a happy and agreeable baby, we are so lucky and blessed to have him in our life. We checked in our suit cases and luggage, and when its time for our flight, jake went back to sleep. I was worried before what would be his reaction when the plane take off, but i’m glad his sleeping during that time. The first time we were in Las Vegas jake was only 4 months old and back then he was really pretty mellow when it comes with traveling, he just observed the environment and this time, he was more friendly and excited and amazed with all the people and the color, its so overwhelming seeing his reaction, smiling to everyone who says hi and hello. So, jake and i are just going to stay for a few days, but we have some line up activities already in schedule, we will make it worth the trip cause it might take a long time before we can have this vacation again. It would be more fun if hubby is with us on this trip but maybe next time.

How was your weekend everyone? We had fun last weekend, spent saturday  family story time at the library for our little j to  be with other kids. He got tired and fall asleep right away as soon as we hit home. The next day my sister from vegas visited us, even if the weather was cold and snow all over the ground, things went well. We spent most of our time at home talk about a lot of things. She invited us to go to vegas and one of the reason she came up here so that we have her to accompany us during the travel. I got busy doing things around before we left for vegas and spent time with my hubby, i felt bad he couldn’t come with us because he has work. I know he will miss jake terribly, and we’ll gonna missed him too. I got lucky also with my other blog, i received one task not that much but means so much to me. I apologize to my ec dropper not be able to drop them back i just got caught up with my busy weekend. Hope you guys had a great weekend. Enjoy the week.

Sometimes in our life we really need space or outlet to release the stress and the pressure of life. There are a lot of ways to amuse ourselves and forget whatever problem we have about things and life. We can go watch movie, go to the mall, shopping or even read books or listen to some music. I already tried some of them, and what i want  is to take a vacation. My sister been offering me to take a vacation to their place with free ticket back and forth. We were there last summer and i wanna go back there. I have been begging my husband for that,but he won’t allow me. I convinced him again and again  of a week vacation for almost a year now. Finally he said yes, i can go for week. I am so happy and excited for it, i can take my son with me. I don’t expect to have a grand vacation, i just need to be away and be in a different place. You know the need to be in different invironment for a while and enjoy the not so cold weather. I’m looking forward for this vacation soon, and hope nothing inconvenient would have happen.

It is so easy to forget to mention sometimes, but I have an extremely sexy and hardworking hubby. He puts in so many hard hours at work, and yet still comes home to us with a beautiful smile on his face. He is usually bum-rushed by the little buckaroo as soon as he gets through the door, and before he can hang his coat, he is knee-deep in baby slober and spit (he loves it!). He is my everything, and I can’t imagine my life without him. Just watching him hold Jake as soon as he gets home makes me feel warm all over. Recently, just to make a little extra money for us, he agreed to stay a few hours late on Wednesdays and tutor some students. Since my hubby is a smart math professor, he is always busy with work, but he doesn’t mind putting in a few extra hours for the good of our family. He is a perfect example of how a REAL man takes care of his wife and family. In rain, snow or sunshine, he always comes through for us. I hope that anyone who reads this will realize the importance of giving some recognition to a hard working family man like my hubby.
