Superbowl Sunday
Well, another Superbowl Sunday has come and gone. Living in Pittsburgh, I had more than an earful of all the hoopla. Now that things have settled down, I think that it’s time that somebody spoke out about the “Pittsburgh Football Fans”. How should I put this? They are the most immature and childish football fans in the world. I am so sick and tired of hearing how great the Steelers are. I watched all the games. I can see that they are pretty damn good. But that isn’t good enough for Steeler fans. They are equivalent to an eight-year-old in the days leading up to Christmas. You know, when the child can’t stop going on and on about how great Christmas is going to be and how many great toys he or she is going to get. By the time Christmas day gets here, you’re sick and tired of hearing about it, and it somehow just isn’t as much fun. That’s the perfect analogy of Steeler fans. They ruin it for everyone. They think that people in all major cities that have a Superbowl winner behave that way. Uhhhhhh, no guys, you’re the only ones actually. I know this won’t change anything, but I really needed to get that off of my chest. I like the Steelers, but being surrounded by these moronic Pittsburgh Steeler fans makes it hard to root for them.
