Meaning of Blogger: A blogger is person who has maintains a blog. Blogging is the active updating of the person who maintains the posting.

A blog (a contraction of the term web log) is a website, usually maintained by an individual with regular entries of commentary, descriptions of events, or other material such as graphics or video. Entries are commonly displayed in reverse-chronological order. “Blog” can also be used as a verb, meaning to maintain or add content to a blog.This is the clear definition of blog I got from the internet. I know all of you knows what’s blog/blogging/webblog is. I think its a smart idea who ever started this blogging. I actually still considered myself as a newbie in this blogsphere but I really had fun writing every thoughts I got and events in life. A friend introduced me in this blog back in December, and she told me how fun it is for her and what the benefits she gets from blogging thanks melody. Indeed it was very great hobby, interest or fun time to do. Before I always get bored a lot, and bitchy of the boredom I felt because I didn’t do anything aside from watching TV, doing chores I felt like useless and got tired of my life. I don’t even have any outlet to enjoy myself or even someone to talk to aside from my husband. So when I started this blogging, I able to voice out what’s in my mind, share my interest and meet new people on the web and most of all meet people who came from the same place I am from and get to know their lives here in the US. Another benefits the blog gave to the bloggers are some of them they earn money through writing reviews. While me on the other hand got lucky with this site Toaday.com they also paid the bloggers for post they write. So, I am having fun writing I also get paid. Isn’t that neat? I also joined contest and giveaways to earn credits so I can advertise my blog. I’m having great time with this blogging and I’m still learning though about everything there is to learn.

I have been posting here whats going on with my baby Jake. In my previous post I mention how effective the antibiotics that it really works fast on him. Well it is a good medicine though and works good on him so far. But this morning we found new rashes all over his body and few in his face, so we called his doctor again and got an appointment. Got some checked up and we are glad to hear that the ear infection almost healed and these rashes are just the reaction of the amoxicillin his taking. The doctor said the antibiotics would shows some reaction at around the 8th or the 9th day of taking it and jake is on his 9th day of this amoxicillin. So we have to stop using this stuff since his ear infection is getting better and thank God his fever  is not back for the last 24 hours.  We feel relieved now that his fever not coming back hopefully, and i think this rashes will go away in a couple of days. I thank those people also who shows concern to my little one. Have a great weekend guys.

We thought everything is going back to normal, cough and colds are gone, ear infection start healing up, we even felt glad that he didn’t catch any fever but we were wrong. This time it’s the fever cause from ear infection. Couple of nights ago, my little one acting so weird quiet and he didn’t wanna play. We felt his forehead and he was feeling warm then took his temperature at first it was normal all of a sudden went up to 103 F.   In the hospital,he was not the only baby there, in fact the place were crowded with sick babies and kids. We waited a long long hours before the nurse called our name and checked jake up, still 103 fever so they gave him medicine. But it wasn’t over there yet, we still have to wait another more long long long hours for the doctor. We were both exhausted for all those waitings. I was thinking those other babies there who felt mesirable they have to wait for that long hours before they will be checked. That hospital needs more doctor and nurses to attain those patients, i mean poor kids they don’t feel well and they have to wait more than 8 hours. Thats what we did too, we came home late and jake’s fever gone before the doctor got in our room. My baby has been nurturing his sickness for two weeks now from cough, to cold to ear infection and lastly fever whats next? His fever at this moment is not totally gone, they come and go, ohh how I hate it. We monitor his medicines round the clock, his ears still swolen inside,so as long as this ear infection won’t go away he’s gonna have this damn fever too. Fever is one of the common ear infection symtoms.

First and foremost I just wanna say I am happy and lucky to get pregnant in such a short amount of time. I got pregnant right away in 10 months after I gave birth to my beautiful son. So, my son still young and he is going to be a big brother in 6 months and we will be a family of four soon. It is sounds unfair in Jake’s part but we want him to have a brother/sister to play with and besides this pregnancy would be our last hopefully. Hubby and I planned this pregnancy coz we think we’re not getting any younger. Its common in pregnancy to feel a lot of unpleasant, undiscribable, roller coaster feeling and hormonal changes. I get head aches most of the time, I feel tired , and quiet a lot of zits or pimples in my forehead that I sometimes tempted to pop them coz its gross and sore. Now I feel constipated and bloated I think it’s a normal feeling in pregnancy. I don’t like to take a shower either, there are certain foods in my mind that I wanted to eat but when its served in front of me I don’t like eating them. I am glad that I get myself busy watching jake because it distract my mind feeling all this symtoms.  This time isn’t that bad compared to my previous pregnancy. I seldom feel my morning sickness and nausea lately. I get nauseous when I’m in the car sometimes but it’s manageable. I get occassional cough, dry lips and skin too, and tender sensitive breast plus I hate the constant going to the bathroom hard to control my bladder. Every now and then i experience changes in my body and different feelings.  I started showing out in this pregnancy I gain fast. I just wish my baby is healthy and my delivery in 6 months time would be easy and quick too.

Each Individual are created differently in a lot of ways like our images, talents, gifts, attitude, personality, characteristics. Some people are gifted with the ESP or we call it has a psychic vision which is they can foresee the future. I am a catholic but I do believed in any superstition, fortune teller, future teller, cards reader. When I was single I used to go to a card reader to read my future I heard not just positive but as well as negative. Everytime I heard negative I prayed to God to help me avoid it or not to happen. But at the back of my mind I know I’m bothered or scared with the thought of those negative vision. One time when I was in graduate school I had a classmate who happens to have a vision. My classmates were coming to him asking what he saw in their future, most of the words he was telling to them based on what he saw were about to happen to them like getting married, weddings, family problems and he also gave them advice to pray. So I also joined the fun, I asked him about my path to the future and he refused for some reason. He said he saw nothing but darkness so I cracked up a joke like maybe I need to buy a flashlight then or maybe no electricity in that area you saw. I kept insisting him to go on, whatever negative vision he will see I’m ready to accept it and I’m not scared. He indeed went on, he said he saw me with 2 kids in my future but my path is blured and dark. He didn’t see any man or father with that two kids, he added that the father could be working far abroad or will die or I will be a single parent. I was kind of alarmed I don’t want to have a baby without a father,  I live alone with 2 kids it was pretty scary though. I told some of my friends and they laughed at me for believing such thing. Until now I still think about what he said and keep praying not to happen. I know believing such thing is a sin and shows weakness and lack of faith. I lift that up to the Lord, to give me strength,  faith and guidance, and watch over my family, my friends especially my husband and kids.

Eversince I was growing up I always around more often with my friends than my family. I treasured all my friends, old and new found friends. I sneaked out just to hang out at my friends house, sometimes our neighbor before mistook me as my parents neice because they don’t see me more often in our house. Even when I was in college and working, I work far away from home and enjoy with the company of my friends. When I got here I feel so homesick, alone that I wanted to go back home. Hubby was very understanding with my unpredictable, bitchy attitude at that time. I always cried a lot, i miss my friends and family. I only got the chance of talking to them on the phone once a month because we don’t have internet connection and our computer was an old one which is very slow and sensitive. Everytime I talked to them at the phone I get a tears in eyes especially when I heard them laughing at the other line saying they miss me. Right now Im beginning to adopt my life as a stay at home wife and mom, no friends around to hang out with, just my hubby and kids but I still missed them. I met new friends here and we communicate over the phone every now and then, I also met a lot of web friends on the internet since I joined the blogosphere. And the best thing is I got back my communication with my old friends back in our hometown and cebu city through yahoo messenger. Now I felt better even if they are not around physically, I know they think of me a lot of times. So, good to keep the communication with your friends open, you still know whats going on with their lives. I also keeping in touch with my family back home through internet and long distance call. 

As I mentioned in my previous post, that our little guy has an ear infection and his doctor prescribed him an antibiotics yesterday. We gave him a dose right away yesterday and today and his feeling better now. His not coughing that much and I don’t see yellowish runny nose. His eyes are not red anymore and his doing well. He is walking and crawling around, back to his usuall activities like trashing the place, throwing out some books and everything. His even eating well and drinking his juice a lot of time. I’m glad that medicine kicks in right away. and he even like his medicine coz it has a rasberry taste in it. I’m happy looking at  him back to normal, and his voice too is back. I am so impressed with the health care here,  it’s very effective. I thank God for always being there listening to my prayer. Always put god in everything you do and ask for his guidance, God never fails.

We had a full day busy life today, we had jake’s doctors appointment in the morning after that hubby has to be in a hurry to catch his 10:00 o clock class then stop by at giant eagle to get the prescription and lastly go to slippery rock to visit my MIL. The last time jake visited his grandma was last december, it was christmas. So today we visited his granma and  see my SIL and her kids who drived from newyork just to visit their GM too. The weather was pretty bad, snowing and  kind of windy, but my SIL and the kids will leave this weekend so today is the only available time we got to see them. We’re happy to see them and so are they, and jake happy to see GM and his cousins too. They gave jake a whole bunch of hand-me-down cool toys and his gifts for his coming birthday next month. We had dinner at the chinese buffet and spent a little while chatting. We got home pretty late, and boy! the road was very nasty and foggy, you can barely see lines on the road because of the snow. All was well,  we got home safe and sound, jake sleeping all the whole 1 hour drive from his GM.

The Little guy has an ear infection. yup! finally we got him a doctors appointment today not because from his cough and cold, well part of it. He had harsh voice lately due to hard cough but it started to getting back and better, and his colds is still pretty bad with those yellowish mucus that is running out from his nose. But for this past couple of days we noticed some discharge like a pus in his eyes we thought it was from the colds and his eyes were red. We called the doctor last night to ask for appointment and told the many symtoms our buckaroo has having.  This morning his one eye were shut because of that pus or mucus in his eyes, so we confirmed the time we need to see the doctor and off to te hospital for check up. The doctor checked his throat and it was red thats why his voice was harsh and checked his nose and ears and there it was, he had an ear infection, that explain those mucus in his eyes. The words ear infection  reminds me of a friend’s  daughter when she has an ear infection, its just that jake didn’t have a fever. His warm but the temperature didn’t go more than a hundred. His eyes were red and i think itchy thats why his always rubbing them and yellowish pus or mucus discharged, these are most of the symtoms. Well, I’m glad we had our little guy checked up and found out about the problem. She prescribed us medicine for the ear infection and hopefully our baby will feel better soon. It hurts us seeing him suffer like that, we really want him to get better and well.

Having a baby is an everyday challenge. Raising them and taking care of their need in a daily basis is tiring sometimes but it’s rewarding. We want our little ones to stay healthy and clean everyday so we gave them bath and all that. Keeping the little ones clean can also be challenging. here are safety tips in cleaning your baby.

* Gather all supplies first; swirl the water with your hand to check temperature. Before undressing the baby be sure to have it ready all the things you need like the soap,sponge bath, towel, or even clean water to wash him before wrapping him with the towel.

* Never leave babies or children unsupervised in or near water for even a nanosecond. Let telephone call go into voicemail. For their safety, your children need absolute attention. Even if your child can sit up alone, always stay within arm’s reach. I heard or read news or cases like that, leaving thier baby in the bath tub to get out an answer the phone. It’s not safe leaving baby in the water he/she might drown.

* No bath seat allowed. It tips over easily unless theres a safety belt or handle with it.

* Face your toddler away from the faucet so he can’t turn on the hot water. Kids sometimes can be tricky they wanna play everything especially when the water running.

Give sponge baths to babies up to 4 weeks old. This is enough time to allow the umbilical cord to fall off and the navel to heal.

Brightly colored sponges and soaps help make bathing a fun experience.
